R. Dale Hadfield - Landscape Architect, is a professional firm specializing in landscape architecture, site planning and urban design; encompassing all levels of government and the private sector. 

In 1977, Dale Hadfield formed Hadfield & Associates Inc., merged his firm with FMA in (a mid sized multi-disciplinary firm) in 1984; and in 1988 reorganized with Bill Laymon to form Hadfield Laymon Landscape Architects.  During this period Mr. Hadfield had many great opportunities working on projects throughout the United States and abroad.  Projects for which he's been responsible for range in scope from the master landscape architectural aspect of mixed-use projects, involving thousands of acres, to the intimacy and detail of a custom residential estate.  Many of his projects have received national recognition.

Dale now works as a sole proprietor, however associating himself with other self-employed professionals whom he has worked with in the past, on an "as needed" basis.  This collaboration incorporates the talents and qualifications of selected professionals who have unique strengths and extensive experience in specific areas, without the costly overhead of a large operation.  The size of the firm allows for continuous principal involvement, interacting with the client in a consistent manner throughout all phases of the project, from initial concept design to field observation and contract administration.  If the time frame dictates more staff, it is done by collaborating with other experienced professionals, individuals recognized as leaders in their respective fields, and many who have their own notable firms.  However, Mr. Hadfield personally supervises the design and construction documents of every project he undertakes, acting as both Principal-in Charge and Project Manager on all assignments.  If there is one thing that Dale has learned in his twenty-five years of experience; it's that quality comes from personal commitment, knowledge and desire, not the size of the firm!
