EXPERIENCE

The firm of d.d. Pagano has provided professional services for over twenty years in development and research in the field of irrigation.  Irrigation design development, product research and testing, water conservation analysis, system analysis and construction methods are only a few of the services that make d.d. Pagano a recognized leader in the field of irrigation consulting.  This knowledge and experience is reflected in all irrigation designs - designs, which are geared to provide the ultimate end user with the most efficient, innovative and cost-effective irrigation system possible.  Irrigation designs encompass a wide variety of environmental conditions including heat, cold, wind terrain, soil conditions, and the use of reclaimed water.  Mr. Pagano’s experience also includes three years as head estimator for a large irrigation-contracting firm.  In addition to estimating, other duties include field supervision, material take-offs, as-built drawings and system layout and staking.  Additionally, he has six years of service as a sales representative for all of the major lines of sprinkler irrigation equipment, and four years with the City of Anaheim, California, working under the park development coordinator, with the primary duty of designing landscape irrigation systems for the Anaheim Parks System.

QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Mr. Pagano is a nationally recognized expert in irrigation design and a leader in providing comprehensive water management services.  Mr. Pagano has over 30 years experience in this field and is presently an appointee to the Orange County Water Conservation Task Force, and advisory group directed by the Board of Supervisors to develop water conservation policy / ordinance for the entire County.  Under his leadership the firm has provided comprehensive water management and irrigation system master plans for the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center, as well as for the PGA West 5,000 unit, 1,400-acre golf community and the 5,000-acre Rancho Santa Margarita community, which continue to be ongoing efforts.  The following is a partial list of notable project experience:
